The Ombudsman and Commissioner for Education visit the KSU Freshers’ Week at the University of Malta

The Parliamentary Ombudsman, Judge Emeritus Joseph Zammit McKeon, along with the Commissioner for Education, Chief Justice Emeritus Vincent DeGaetano, were given a guided tour of the Kunsill Studenti Universitarji (KSU) Freshers’ Week by Vice President for External Affairs, Jan Proschek.
During the visit, the Ombudsman explored several stands, interacting with representatives from public services and student organisations. He engaged in meaningful conversations with students, public service employees, and academics, gaining insights into student activities, initiatives on campus, and the needs of the student body.
In addition, the Ombudsman visited the stand of the Office of the Ombudsman, which served to increase awareness about the institution’s role and services within the student community.
